Master of Science Geography

Basical information

• Our P.G course came into existence in 2013. The department came into existence in 2004. We have a total strength of 116 students with seven faculty members and one supporting staff.

Course details

It is a four semester course

What we teach

Every semester we teach three theory papers and one practical papers each.

Practical

Fourth semester practical includes only two geography papers.

Facilities

Department has basic infrastructure such as well equipped lab with advanced equipments like GPS, Total, station etc. students can utilize the college library at any time.

Opportunities & placements

Opportunities both in teaching field and as scientific assistants in land use board, CESS, disaster management etc.

Admission

50% mark in degree is necessary for admission.
