National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Programme under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Introduced in 1969, during the birth centenary of Mahatma Gandhi, NSS aims to enrich students with a spirit of voluntary service, leadership, and commitment to society, while they pursue their education.
