The Department of English aspires to inculcate in the budding minds empathy, self-belief and self-reliance, charcter building and leadership qualities so as to make them involve in the nation building activities.

• To nurture knowledge and love for literature and language in students.
• To identify, analyze, interpret and describe the critical ideas, values and themes appear in various literary works.
• To give ample opportunities for the students to realize and refine the English language competency and help them to become efficient users of the language.
