DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

          The Department of Mathematics came into existence in September 1995, with the major objective of developing it to a Centre of Excellence in this region in mathematical sciences and its applications and to provide facilities for training, study and research in these areas.

AIM

           To introduce mathematical concept and techniques that has application. The course emphasis on the application of mathematical methods. The main objective is to provide an understanding of advanced mathematics.

 

Mathematics is taught as a complementary paper in the following programmes:

Computer Science, Electronics, PCA, B.COM & M.COM,MSc Physics
