Basical information

  • Duration 6 semesters spread over 3 years

What you learn

We teach about 50% Software and 50% Hardware Knowledge. It makes it possible for you to understand not only the technical background but also the software background.

You will be able e.g. to solve hardware problems as well as software problems and to assemble a system.


Practical Work

We want you to have not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. Practical experience is very important for a successful Electronics student.

You will have pratical experience e.g. in developping ecletronic automation.

Job opportunities

After passing B.Sc. Electronics you have many job opportunities. You can go for M.Sc. Electronics. You can work in the IT-sector e.g. doing research in soft- and hardware.


Candidates for admission to the B.Sc. Electronics should have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination of the University of Kerala or any other university recognized by the University of Kerala with Physics as one of the opptional subjects. Candidates with a pass in Higher Secondary/ Technical Higher Secondary/ Vocational Higher Secondary Examinations of the Government of Kerala with Physics as one of the optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent are also eligible.
